Finally found that images need to have dimensions in powers of two, thereby
solving the problem of not being able to map textures onto an object.

Took a trip to Vision Research
in Wayne, NJ. They specialize in the production
and design of high speed Digital cameras. Their cameras are used world-wide for various
purposes from entertainment to industry, to product testing.
